“ I saw the Greek Lady on JL Jupiter's YouTube channel. I'm trying not to eat as much processed meat these days, so their chicken finger hoagie sounded like a great option. I ordered the chicken finger hoagie, along with a couple of desserts for delivery. My delivery came promply and the chicken finger hoagie did not disappoint. The worst thing I could say was that it was too large to eat in one meal, and doesn't retain it's flavor the next day the same way a traditional lunchmeat hoagie would. But it a delicious hoagie, full of chopped up pieces of perfectly fried chicken. I really wanted to devour the entire thing in one meal, but just couldn't do it. My desserts were a slice of carrot cake and red velvet cake. The red velvet cake was disappointing. I would not order that again. The carrot cake was outstanding. I'm not a big fan of the nuts, so the cake could have been perfect without buts. But even with the nuts it's one of the top carrot cakes I've ever tasted. Next time I'm in West Philly I will try to make time to stop in to the Greek Lady to sample more of the menu. ”

“ Greek lady has mediocre greek food but very good breakfast. Their home fries are phenomenal, the breakfast sandwiches are huge, and you can't go wrong with one of the omelettes. Their vegetarian gyro is filled with vegetables and French fries which is a little weird, but the rest of their Greek food is okay. There's some seating inside but it can get busy on weekend evenings. We've also done breakfast catering from here for group brunch events, and again, the platter of homefries is always a big hit. ”

“ The Greek Lady is an excellent place! We went here twice on our long weekend in Philly. The food is fresh and delicious, the portion sizes are generous, and all for a decent cost. Our party ordered the lamb gyro, the chicken gyro the veggie hoagie (large and generous) and the Greek Lady salad. Everything was delicious. The gyros were fresh and generous, the salads were gigantic (we needed to-go boxes for those). The staff are excellent, courteous and very customer-oriented. We had a party of 10 and grabbed a table right outside, and it was delightful. The woman working (who we learned is from Albania) was so kind and thoughtful and we had a good time chatting with her--but didn't get her name. Very near to Penn's campus and on a Saturday afternoon we were even able to park on the street right in front. You can't go wrong with a stop here! ”
